My name is Meghan Stewart and i am the artist behind the camera. I have lived in Jacksonville, Florida for most of my life. I traveled across the continent to Alaska to receive my bachelors degree in elementary education with a minor in art. After graduating I returned home to fulfill my calling of teaching. I began to realize that the one form of art I never tried was photography. So I decided to try my hand at it. I used my mother’s camera for awhile capturing our family memories and I loved it. I decided I wanted to become more creative and expand my knowledge of the mechanics of photography so in my spare time I began taking photography classes at FCCJ. About two years ago I began working with amazing Naomi Williams Photography. I have learned so much from her but most of all I realized my passion for capturing the human spirit through a lens. So here I am, offering my services to you so that you can have beautifully produced photographs to always remember the sweet and funny things your family does to make you you. Meghan, your photography work is awesome! You are definitely blessed with a special talent of capturing the inner spirit of your subject. One can sense the movement and feel the excitment when viewing the picture. I have included my husband’s website where some of my vacation pictures are displayed. Your photography is some of the best I’ve ever seen, especially in the aspect of capturing the essence of your subjects’ personalities. After a “life event” has passed the only tangible we have left is photographs and you obviously have a gift for “freezing” those important moments. I particularly appreciate your candid shots whether of a child at play, a teenager at the beach or a bride on the most important day of her life. I will heartily recommend you for any occasion big or small.
