I was so honored to be asked to travel to Atlanta to document Michelle and Derrell’s wedding. My first out of state wedding! Whoo-hooooooo! It was a gorgeous day, beautiful location, and a wonderful couple. Michelle has such a sweet spirit and made me feel like one of her best friends right from the start. Derrell made us feel so welcome by his apparent excitement when we first arrived at the ceremony site. Everything was just right. The trees were vibrant green, the chairs were white and straight, the flowers were magnificent, and the sky was a bold blue. Everything was just right. The ceremony was so sweet. I loved the look on their faces as the pastor took some time to share personally with them during the communion. It was so very clear to me that they were taking this marriage very seriously and wanted God to be the center of it. I felt so blessed to be part of their day. The party was great. Those girls really know how to have some fun. I can’t wait to party with them again when I can maybe dance a little. (It’s VERY hard not to get my groove on when I’m at a wedding).
Michelle and Derrell, I can’t say thank you enough for inviting me to be a part of your day. You both are so sweet and I pray your marriage and life together is abundantly blessed. Maybe we can catch up the next time you’re in Jax.

The personal moment where I knew they were very serious about this. Love it!
